Welcome to LibrarySkillQuest

I have been a librarian for almost 30 years. Starting my career way back in 1989 at a Public Library and making my way to an Academic Library and currently working at a Private Higher Education Institution, laying down the foundation for the library.

In my quest for an Open Source Library Management System I came across Koha and from there my interest in Koha. I am now at a point where I would like to share my knowledge and assist  with the implementation of Koha for your institiution, whether a School Library or small Academic Library.

However, we are not only going to talk about Library matters, we are also going to share creative activities and beautiful nature images which is unique to South Africa.

This photo was taken at the West Coast of South Africa where it is flower season form August - September. The West Coast National Park is a popular tourist destination this time of year.

Well, this is my introduction. I would like to hear from you, talk to you soon again.
